My stay at Heathlands Hotel was a mixed experience. The location is convenient, being close to Bournemouth beach, and I appreciated the spaciousness of my room. However, the overall condition of the hotel felt very tired and in need of refurbishment. There were cleanliness issues that impacted my stay, making it difficult to see the hotel as a valued destination.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious, but unfortunately, it had cleanliness issues, including stains and cobwebs. It definitely felt dated, and a few elements were not functioning properly.
Service
5.0
While the receptionist was friendly and accommodating, it felt like everything was disorganized, and I sensed a lack of senior management oversight for the guests' concerns.
Location

The hotel is situated in lovely landscaped gardens and is not far from the amazing Bournemouth beach, which is a definite plus.
Dining

Dining options were decent, with buffet-style meals that were generally hot and tasty, but the lack of extended hours for the restaurant was disappointing.
Facilities

Facilities seem dated and lacking, with limited amenities available and some areas in need of significant improvements.

My stay at Heathlands Hotel was quite the mixed bag. While I found the location convenient and the staff friendly, I was disappointed with the overall condition of the hotel. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the decor felt quite dated and the bed uncomfortable. Given the price, I can't be too harsh, but it didn't meet my expectations of comfort.

Rooms
5.0
The Standard Double Room was clean but in need of an update. I noticed some split seams on the duvet covers and a bathroom that felt quite dated. For the price point, I was expecting more in terms of comfort.
Service
5.0
The staff were mostly friendly, but I did notice some lack of professionalism. There were times when it felt like I was dealt with indifferently. They could really benefit from stronger management oversight.
Location
5.0
The hotel is well positioned, just a short walk to the beach. I appreciated the landscaped gardens, which provided a nice ambiance, despite the hotel needing some care itself.

Facilities

Facilities could use improvement. The parking system seemed more like a money-making scheme, and I had concerns over cleanliness in some areas.

I had some mixed feelings about my stay at Heathlands Hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach and town center. However, I encountered some issues with the bed and certain maintenance aspects that couldn't be overlooked, which made my overall experience less enjoyable. I might not return unless improvements are made.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Heathlands Hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. However, the room was in dire need of updating and had several maintenance issues that detracted from the experience.

Rooms

The room was tired and had several issues. The bathroom was outdated, with weak water pressure and a bath that looked worse for wear. I also noticed some cleanliness concerns, like stains and worn-out furniture.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and eager to help, which made my experience slightly better. They were responsive when I raised my concerns, but it felt like they were overwhelmed with the issues in the hotel.

Breakfast was decent with a good selection, though not extraordinary. The dining area was pleasant, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable.

5.4/10

My stay at Heathlands Hotel in Bournemouth was far from what I had hoped for. The location is appealing, as it's close to the beach, but the state of the room left much to be desired. I found the decor dated and the cleanliness lacking, which made for a disappointing experience overall.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and dated, with old furniture and a musty smell. I noticed brown marks on the walls and a dirty carpet, which made me uncomfortable. I had to change rooms due to noise, and while I was moved to another, it still lacked basic amenities.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive to complaints. For instance, I found the reception service lacking when the TV didn't work and basic facilities were not addressed properly. This experience left me feeling that management needs to take guest complaints more seriously.
Location
5.0
The hotel is in a lovely area with landscaped gardens, making it pleasant for walks. It's quite close to the beach, which was a plus for me during my visit. However, the surrounding area gave off a somewhat run-down and unsafe vibe at night.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, with cold food offered during breakfast. The meals I had were not impressive and felt cheap, which did not meet my expectations for a getaway treat.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were very basic, and many items like the kettle didn't even fit in the sink. The lack of a fan and the issues with the hot water tap contributed to a less than comfortable stay.
